🧠 CCSC Trivia Night 🧠 Think you know your computing? Put it to the test at our Trivia Night! A fun, low-pressure evening of general computing knowledge, unit-related questions, and the occasional lecturer curveball. Whether you're chasing bragging rights or just here for the snacks, this one's for everyone. What to expect: 🎯 Rounds covering general computing and computing units 🍕 Finger food for participants  🙌 A relaxed night to hang out with the CCSC community Event Details: 📅 Tuesday 8 September 🕠 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM 📍 The Tavern, Curtin University 👥 Teams of 4–5 — bring your own or team up on the night Come with a team or come solo, we'll help you find a squad. CCSEP Revision Session With the CCSEP mid-semester exam is right around the corner, it is not unusual to feel overwhelmed, as CCSEP is considered to be a challenging unit especially for those who have little background in Cybersecurity.    Join the Curtin Cyber Security Club for a revision session led by the club students, where we will walk students through the key vulnerabilities covered in the unit, using worked examples and open Q&A to reinforce understanding ahead of the Week 7 exam and group assignment.   Not taking the unit? No problem! Anyone interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing is welcome to join and learn something new!

Penetration Testing & Defence Revision Session Struggling with Penetration Testing & Defence? Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered! Join the Curtin Cyber Security Club for a revision session led by a senior security consultant at CyberCX. They’ll walk you through common exam questions and share the methodology they used when approaching reconnaissance, gaining access, exploitation and lateral movement. This is a great chance to see how penetration testing works in practice, ask questions and get some extra preparation before the exam. Not taking the unit? No problem! Anyone interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking or penetration testing is welcome to join and learn something new. Come along, learn and make Penetration Testing & Defence a little less painful!
