We are back with another workshop! You will be working through 6 flags (Windows + Linux, easy → hard), with a quick briefing at the start and a debrief on solutions & best practices at the end. If you aren't enrolled in this unit, and would like to learn some pen-testing techniques, feel free to join!   (Note: Students from other universities; please select the other university ticket -- this costs $10; failure to do so will result in denial of entry)

Event Requirements (For Next Week): - Program Mapping, Memory, Basic Assembly, Registers - Bring your laptops please   So Far Taught: - Cyber Security Pre-requisites - Common vulnerabilities - Prototype poisoning Event Description: Do you not know where to start learning Cyber Security? Because I did. I ended up teaching myself and it was a longer process than needed. So I'm going to be teaching you guys. It is preferred to have some experience with a programming language, the lower level the better. However, I'll be starting from the basics so even if you don't know programming at all I'll take some time during the social hour to answer any questions you may have.

A group of students who successfully completed the unit last year will be facilitating the session, sharing their insights, and guiding practice on key topics, including reconnaissance and other common test areas.
