CCSEP Revision Session With the CCSEP mid-semester exam is right around the corner, it is not unusual to feel overwhelmed, as CCSEP is considered to be a challenging unit especially for those who have little background in Cybersecurity.    Join the Curtin Cyber Security Club for a revision session led by the club students, where we will walk students through the key vulnerabilities covered in the unit, using worked examples and open Q&A to reinforce understanding ahead of the Week 7 exam and group assignment.   Not taking the unit? No problem! Anyone interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing is welcome to join and learn something new!

Penetration Testing & Defence Revision Session Struggling with Penetration Testing & Defence? Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered! Join the Curtin Cyber Security Club for a revision session led by a Curtin alumni who achieved 100% on the unit exam. They’ll walk you through common exam questions and share the methodology they used when approaching reconnaissance, gaining access, exploitation, and lateral movement. This is a great chance to see how penetration testing works in practice, ask questions, and get some extra preparation before the exam. Not taking the unit? No problem! Anyone interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing is welcome to join and learn something new. We are back with another workshop! You will be working through 6 flags (Windows + Linux, easy → hard), with a quick briefing at the start and a debrief on solutions & best practices at the end. If you aren't enrolled in this unit, and would like to learn some pen-testing techniques, feel free to join!   (Note: Students from other universities; please select the other university ticket -- this costs $10; failure to do so will result in denial of entry)
